Proust Questionnaire: Erica

  1. What is your idea of perfect happiness? Perfect happiness to me is being outside in the warm sunshine, when the weather is just right and even the breeze smells good. 
  2. What is your greatest fear? To never be enough
  3. What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? Anxiety
  4. Which living person do you most admire? It changes a lot, but for now, Jillian Michaels: she is honest about her struggles, she wants to do good work, and she helps people take control of their lives.
  5. What is your greatest extravagance? A fresh towel for every shower.  
  6. What is your current state of mind? Caffeinated to productivity!
  7. What do you consider the most overrated virtue? Modesty 
  8. On what occasion do you lie? To protect feelings and sometimes you just have to take a message.
  9. What do you most dislike about your appearance? The bags under my eyes
  10. What is the quality you most like in a man? Wit
  11. What is the quality you most like in a woman? A sense of adventure
  12. When and where were you happiest? Giving the speech at my high school graduation. And on my last anniversary trip to Vegas, where Jacob and I lucked into a private spa pool overlooking a fabulous resort and we joked to each other that we were Beyonce and Jay-Z. 
  13. Which talent would you most like to have? PARKOUR ... this!
  14. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? To be a better storyteller / conversationalist. 
  15. If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? If I'm choosing, I'd want to be a huge tree in a national forest. 
  16. Where would you most like to live? Somewhere warm and coastal with sandy wood floors, a few grassy acres, a veggie garden and a couple of goats.  
  17. What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery? Living in regret
  18. What is your favorite occupation? Comedian
  19. What is your most marked characteristic? My lip 
  20. What do you most value in your friends? Authenticity 
  21. Who are your favorite writers? So many! Joseph Campbell, Benjamin Franklin, Kurt Vonnegut, JK Rowling, Toni Morrison, Sylvia Plath, all my writing friends
  22. Who is your hero of fiction? Nicki Minaj
  23. Which historical figure do you most identify with? Benjamin Franklin
  24. What are your favorite names? James, Davenport
  25. What is it that you most dislike? Intolerance 
  26. What is your greatest regret? Being too insecure to make friends/try things
  27. How would you like to die? Quickly
  28. What is your motto? YOLO
