I immediately admired this young lady for her courage. My family and I talked about what guts this girl had to get up on stage to perform, to put herself on the spotlight because she was different. A year later or so, I started my very first job and Araceli happened to work at the same place. We became best of friends. People would often asked me if I knew what happened to Araceli, why was she different and they would be surprised when I would day "I don't know". I knew she was different but didn't know why. I never asked her and that was never brought up. I loved her for who she was/is. I remember feeling admiration for her and that I looked up to her.

Araceli I know it wasn’t easy for you growing up. Like you, once I became a parent, things like bullies, people that are so quick to judge and pick on people’s imperfections became more visible. I love what you are doing and that you are getting involved. I continue to admire you and the braveness you take upon this world.
