At Boston Children's Hospital, Bentley Yoder underwent life-saving surgery to treat a rare, skull irregularity in May 2016. Dr. John Meara, with the help of a team of engineers and one 3-D printer, was able to save Bentley from a severe encephalocele. The rare and often fatal defect prevents the skull from forming properly. Thanks to cutting-edge technology in the form of models created with a 3-D printer Bentley is thriving.
